Maximiliano Gauna is back in Argentina after two seasons in Europe. Born 27 years ago in Tres Isletas in Chaco Province, Gauna has come home from Friedrichshafen, Germany, after winning the 2014-15 Volleyball League and the 2014-2015 German Championship. In the German League, Gauna, who previously played for Boca Juniors and Sarmiento in the Argentine Club League, stood out as a middle blocker. Gauna played for Argentina in the 2015 World League and in the World Championship and was part of the team that won gold at the Toronto 2015 Pan American Games. He is characterised by his bravery, presence and temperament.
