Lucas Ocampo is one of those players returning to Javier Weber’s team for this season. He was part of one of the most glorious pages of Personal Bolívar’s history, and was in the 2010 team that defeated Brazil’s Cimed, the local team, in the South American Championship. In 2012/2013 he played his second season for the club. Born in March 1986, he began his career as a volleyball player in Banfield, where he made his debut in the first division in 2003 before moving to Club de Amigos. Lucas also gained valuable experience playing in the Italian and Spanish Leagues. This 1.96m, 30-year-old spiker played for Bento Volei in the Brazilian Super League last season. He made his debut for Argentina in 2007 in a match against Bulgaria, and played in the FIVB Volleyball World League in 2009, 2010, 2011 and  2014, as well as in the 2010 FIVB Volleyball World Championship.
