Men's Club World Championship takes on Olympic flavour as rosters are unveiled

Sada Cruzeiro defeated Zenit Kazan in the 2015 Men's Club World Championship final. The two clubs will meet again in Pool A of the 2016 edition.

Lausanne, Switzerland, September 20, 2016 – The FIVB Volleyball Men’s Club World Championship 2016 in Betim will feature some of the world's top players from October 18 to 23 with the rosters now officially unveiled.

Brazilian co-hosts Sada Cruzeiro will attempt to defend the title they won in last year's edition of the competition when they take on Taichung Bank of Chinese Taipei, Tala'ea El-Geish of Egypt and Zenit Kazan of Russia in Pool A. Co-hosts Minas Tênis Clube will play Italian club Trentino Volley and Argentine teams UPCN and Bolivar in Pool B.

Players to look out for in Pool A will include Matthew Anderson of the United States, Wilfredo Leon of Cuba and Russian Maxim Mikhaylov for 2016 European Champions League winners Zenit Kazan. Hosts Sada Cruzeiro will feature standout players including Rio 2016 Olympic Games gold medallist William Arjona and Cubans Yoandy Leal and Robertlandy Simon.
