Rodriguinho was integrated into the youth team of Sada Cruzeiro in 2014 and soon received opportunities with the professional team. He was a club world champion (2015), twice a champion of the Superliga (2015/16 and 2014/15), a South American champion (2016) and a runner-up (2015). He was also a champion of the Copa Brasil (2016), a champion of the Supercopa (2015 ) and a Mineiro champion (2015). With the club, he also won the Superliga B in 2015 with Sada Cruzeiro UNIFEMM. In the same year, he also won the Metropolitano Juvenil (Youth), Metropolitano Infanto (Children), and was a runner-up in the Taça Paraná, when he was elected the best striker of the tournament. Rodriguinho has also played for Brazil. In 2012, he was a South American youth champion and in 2015 won the U21 Pan American Cup in Canada. In 2013, he was selected Carioca champion by RJX.
