Champions of Europe and South America in 2015 final rematch

Betim, Brazil, October 20, 2016 - The highly anticipated big match of pool play pits two-time world champions and reigning South American champions Sada Cruzeiro of Brazil against reigning European Champions Zenit Kazan - with scores to settle dating from last year.

This is a rematch of the 2015 FIVB Club World Championship final, which the Brazilians won in four sets in the very same venue. It is actually the third match between the two clubs, who had also clashed in pool play last year, with that match going the Russians' way in four sets.
